Ryan takes second win of 2019 World Championship

With the World Championship defence over for Tim Ryan after an unlucky start to the season, the brief has been clear… go all out for race wins, and that is what he has done taking two of the last three round wins of the series. Watch the Race Highlights for some awesome Sprint Car racing!

As has been the case this year it has been feast of famine, and the last three rounds have been no exception. Round Win at Volusia in Round 5, taken out of the heats and last chance qualifiers at Kokomo in Round 6, and then yesterday’s Round Win in Round 7 at Eldora.

As was the case of his last win, Ryno posted the Quick Time of the night in qualifying, and lead each and every lap of his heat, and then backed it up with a lights to flag race in the 30 lap feature, despite having three caution restarts nullifying his lead each time and resisting the Heile-Mary’s from David Heileman in the final duel.

Despite no less than 4 DNFs this season, Tim remarkably sits inside the Top 10 in the championship after 7 rounds. Round 8 sees the championship move to Williams Grove Speedway for the first time, where the unique circuit will pose a new challenge to the entire field.
