MARCENÓ AND CARUSO GET SERIES OFF TO A WINNING START!

The 24H Series Esports kicked off with 6 Hours of Hockenheim. Simone Maria Marcenò did an exceptional job in the Porsche 992 by qualifying strongly and then taking an early lead in a tight battle early on. He was able to stretch his legs once free of the chasing pack and pulled a 33 second lead before handing to Jordan Caruso. With such a strong lead, Jordan just had to manage the gap for the final third of the race and did a superlative job to take the chequered flag and win by 49 seconds! A fantastic way to start!

It was a tougher race for our Porsche GT3R, who would start in 6th and run as high as 4th before dropping pace especially in the longer runs relative to our competitors. This left us vulnerable especially on the double stint where we would lose the bulk of our time. After a late battle with Arnage and two Vendaval cars, we’d drop back to finish in 12th.

It’s a case of agony and ecstacy from our two cars. It’s brilliant to take another win in a NEO Endurance series race, and we’re incredibly proud of that. We’ll be pushing hard to get similar success in GT3 next time out at Sebring next month!
