TOP 10 FINISH FOR KAHL IN DIGITAL MOTORSPORTS WORLD CUP

Andrew returned to top flight racing with a field comprising almost of only 2022 PESC competitors, and qualified in P22 on a more conservative qualifying strategy. Early in the race, he would drop to almost last place after taking avoiding action at Turn 4 from a multi-car incident.

From there he showed awesome race pace and great racecraft to pick his way through the field and cross the line just outside the Top 10, however was promoted in the final classifications after post-race penalties were issued.

It was a very welcome return for a driver we’ve always known to be one of the most talented drivers out there. Well done Andrew!

FAREWELL COOPER WEBSTER

We’re preparing our farewell for one of our team’s finest. At the conclusion of 2021, we will be saying goodbye to Cooper Webster. “I’ve loved every minute racing under the Altus banner. The team is super professional and the other drivers are great to work with. Without the other offer, I would have gladly stayed at Altus into the future,” Cooper explained.

Cooper has been a great teammate and an even better friend, but has been offered another opportunity elsewhere in 2022. Whilst we are sad to see him go, everyone at Altus Esports are excited to see him flourish and wish him all the best in the 2022 PESC season!

POLE & VICTORY IN SPORTS CAR OPEN!

The Sports Car Open Endurance Series made its way to Circuit of The Americas for Round 2, and after a disappointing Round 1 we were looking to bounce back to get the championship back on track. Luke McKeown wasted little time in rectifying this, by setting two laps good enough for pole position.

The Lone Star State 1000 is a long race however, and it was all to play for. A spirited battle early on with URANO especially kept us on our toes, however cool heads prevailed and and a strong consistent race allowed Luke & Yannick to come home 29 seconds ahead of Maniti Racing.

We now go into Round 3 with the championship lead – the ultimate way to bounce back

after the opening race. Bring it on the Red Bull Ring in January!

POLE & VICTORY IN 24H SERIES ESPORTS

Simone Maria Marcenò and Jordan Caruso paired up once again to go 2 from 2 in another mighty performance for a dominant victory in the Porsche 992 class to win by more than a minute.

It was a tough race for the GT3 squad after a difficult start to the race, leaving a speed deficit that would make it hard to have a strong finish.

Onto the next round at Red Bull Ring in January! We cannot wait!

ALEX DUNNE JOINS ALTUS!

We’re excited to welcome Irish youngster Alex Dunne to the team full time, having raced with the team most recently in the VCO ProSIM Series.

When not on the sim you’ll often find him at the racetrack, having completed his first year in cars in Formula 4 after a successful karting career.

We’re excited to have Alex join us, and to go out and get those results. You can watch out for him in this weekend’s 24H Series Esports 6 Hour race at Sebring in the #43 Porsche GT3 R.
