LATE PENALTY COST US VICTORY IN AHU ENDURANCE OPENER

James Scott & Andrew Kahl fielded the opening round of the Apex Hunters United Endurance Series, and didn’t put a foot wrong for the majority of the race, opening up a staggering 50 second lead before a late safety car erased the deficit.

At the restart, we controlled the position well before tangling with a lapped GT3 runner resulting in an unfortunate drive through penalty. With only 20 minutes left in the race, Andrew put in a tremendous fightback to reclaim second place and was hunting down the leader before just running out of laps.

Nevertheless the performance was exceptional and we have evey reason to be confident moving into the next round of the series. Congratulations to our friends at Drop Bear Motorsport who didn’t put a foot wrong and claimed a great victory.
