POLE & VICTORY IN SPORTS CAR OPEN!
The Sports Car Open Endurance Series made its way to Circuit of The Americas for Round 2, and after a disappointing Round 1 we were looking to bounce back to get the championship back on track. Luke McKeown wasted little time in rectifying this, by setting two laps good enough for pole position.
The Lone Star State 1000 is a long race however, and it was all to play for. A spirited battle early on with URANO especially kept us on our toes, however cool heads prevailed and and a strong consistent race allowed Luke & Yannick to come home 29 seconds ahead of Maniti Racing.
We now go into Round 3 with the championship lead – the ultimate way to bounce back
after the opening race. Bring it on the Red Bull Ring in January!
